Steve Pitre –
This 1×1 daylight panel is truly great. I decided to go with the daylight units so I can get the most light output by using all LEDs at once. The output is quite bright for a unit of that size. I do like that they are flexible and light. In tight spaces, they could even be tapped on the wall or ceiling with gaffer tape. They are also very useful for traveling for shoots. I can fit 4 of those units, with dimmer and all accessories into a kino diva case, where in the past I was only able to fit one kino diva, which is already was less bright than one 1×1 daylight DP Lumi. As far as light control, you can use just the panel, or ad an eggcrate directly on the panel. You can also put the soft box with diffusion, and ad a larger egg crate on top of the soft box and diffusion. I think those light control options are great. Overall, is it a great unit that is light, flexible, strongly made and affordable. I highly recommend it for any professionals shooting documentaries, corporate, commercials, narrative films, and also events.
